i want to get an external hard drive for my laptop, but i don't know which one is right for it, Help?
And also, could i install a game onto an external hard drive??

Just about any external drive will work. Keep in mind some external drives are AC powered and some are powered by your computer. If you want a large capacity drive, get a 1TB drive. If you are looking for a smaller, you could get a 500GB or even 250GB. Usually anything bigger than a 800 gigabytes, requires external power. i have had this western digital external hard drive for about a year now and it suddenly stopped working. i noticed a small key hole looking thing in the back of it and was wondering if they came with a key? and could someone have locked it without me knowing or myself locked it?

The keyhole is not for a physical key. :) It's most likely just a vent. As for why your drive is not working, it's hard to say. You could try taking it apart. It's probably an IDE or SATA drive in an enclosure. You can put it directly in a computer or an enclosure and see if that works. Otherwise, the drive may be unusable, though there are still recovery options.
