What is a good external hard drive to buy for a mac?

I'm looking for a 1TB or larger external hard drive. Preferably with USB 3.0

Depending on where you live, the Silicon Power brand can be hard to find in a store (if you don't want to buy online), so the other drive I'd recommend is the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 1.5 TB. It's easier to find in stores, and it has the advantage of being a 1.5 TB drive for basically the same price as most 1 TB drives. You can find out more about it at http://amzn.to/I4eHN5. It's a USB 3.0 drive that will work with you Mac.

Yes. You will need to use the FAT 32 format so it can be used by both systems....
