I use it mostly for gaming, it runs everything with max graphics pretty easily
at Doru Ubuntu, yea intel makes a great processor, but also a very expensive processor. for $200 i got a great AMD processor, a similar intel would run me about $1000
as for that chart.....not really sure what all the numbers even mean there in the middle

That's a great computer, my rating would be 8/10.
I give that rating because no doubt your processor is very powerful with six-cores but their are better gaming processors out e.g i5,i7 processors.

Computer Noob building a computer, Help!!?

Ok so im a total computer noob, but im attempting to build a gaming computer. I really do not know wat im doing but i some research and started looking around. Heres what i have so far. Can you tell me what I still need, and what i should upgrade/downgrade, or even if the parts are compatible with each other. I'm not looking for top of the line gaming computer. Trying to do for under 1500.

In addition to having the wrong processor for that motherboard, you also have selected incompatible RAM. You've also selected really, really disparate components in terms of performance. The motherboard you selected is top of the line, the hard drive is ridiculously big, but the rest of your build seems to be a budget build.
I'm also wondering why you feel you need the USB to DVI adapter...
You should scrap this whole list and start over again. If you want help, put your budget in the add. details along with what you want to accomplish with this build (is if for gaming, video editing, just web and flash games, etc...).
